Effortlessly log and manipulate Red camera data for free.
Red Digital Cinema files (RedCode) contain lots of metadata about what was recorded. Things like the date and time it was shot, the camera, reel, and clip numbers, and the timecodes. Unfortunately, most of it is locked away inside the RedCode files themselves, inaccessible to all but the most tenacious people with a lot time on their hands.
With Redemption by Surreal Road, you can collect all of that information into a single database, and add notes and reference movies or images to each clip. You can also use it to process individual clips using Redline, or select a bunch of them for batch-processing.
It's free and available for Mac OS X, Windows, and Filemaker Pro.
